My Simple K-Beauty Routine as a 30-Something with Dry Skin
I have dry skin and a soft spot for skincare. Here's how I care for my skin with simple K-beauty habits that make me feel good every day 💛

As someone who’s surrounded by K-beauty every day,
I wanted to share a little peek into my personal skincare routine.
I’m in my 30s and have dry skin,
so hydration and soothing are always at the heart of what I do.
🧼 Double Cleansing
I usually double cleanse—starting with either a cleansing oil or micellar water,
depending on how much makeup I wore or how my skin feels that day.
I don’t use oil every single day, especially when my skin feels extra dry or sensitive,
but on certain days, it really helps to soften and smooth my skin.
Then I follow up with a gentle foam cleanser to finish.
💧 Layering Toner (Not quite 7 times 😅)
I know the 7-skin method is a big thing in K-beauty,
but honestly, seven layers is a bit too much for me—haha.
If I had a little tip of my own, it would be this:
applying toner two to three times works better for me than just once.
It’s a simple step, but it makes a big difference for my dry skin.
It feels gentle, refreshing, and really helps my skin drink in the moisture.
🧖 Sheet Masks = A Mini Ritual
I try to use sheet masks as often as I can.
I usually leave them on for about 15 to 20 minutes—
just enough to let the essence absorb without drying out my skin.
Afterward, I seal everything in with a moisturizing cream,
or sometimes a sleeping pack if my skin needs a little extra love that night.
Skincare doesn’t have to be complicated.
Even small daily rituals like these help me feel more connected to myself
and more in tune with what my skin needs.
